TEMPLATES
The templates on this page is are the only valid templates to use for registering domains under the .GM domain.

The templates MUST be filled out according to the template specifications. Incomplete or faulty applications may be rejected. Keep especially considerations in filling out the description part of the domain application as this will assist the process and may affect how quickly the domain registration can be evaluated and processed.

NOTE:
Please remember to read the GM-Policy before submitting domain applications.
You should not apply for a domain-name if you:

  • Are setting up web-pages with no particular value to the local Internet community of The Gambia
  • - and
  • do not have reason to claim to register the name under the "name protection clause" of the policy

[ Part  A ] - Administrative details

Domain:
In this field you have to write the name of the requested domain. Please make sure the name is spelled correctly. The name is NOT case-sensitive. Letters, numbers and Hyphen (-)  is allowed in a domain name.

Descr:
This field is important. Here you are requested to specify WHY you want to register the requested domain(s).
Approved reasons for domain registrations are based on the regulations described in the policy page.

Admin-c:
This is the field where the full name of the Administrator of the requested domain(s) is put.
The GM policy requires the OWNER of the domain(s) (the paying customer/owner of the trademark or similar) to be the registered Administrator.

Tech-c:
The technical contact full name which is filled in here are normally the company (ISP) representative that does the actual work of registering and maintaining the domain for the owner. The technical contact should not be the same as the Administrative contact.

Zone-c:
Zone contact is often a representative within the same company (ISP) as the technical contact. Remember to use full names.

[ Part  B ] - Admin contact

Person:
This is a second field where the full name of the Administrator of the requested domain(s) is put.
The GM policy requires the OWNER of the domain(s) (the paying customer/owner of the trademark or similar) to be the registered Administrator.

Address #1:
Specify the name of the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

Address #2:
Specify the street address of the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

Address #3:
Specify the area and postal code address of the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

Address #4:
Specify the city address of the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

Address #5:
Specify the country address of the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

Phone:
Specify the phone number (with prefix/country codes)  for the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

Fax-no:
Specify the fax number (with prefix/country codes)  for the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

E-mail:
Specify the E-mail address to the organisation/entity that request the domain registration(s).

[ Part  B 1] - Technical Contact at ISP administrating the name server

Person:
This is a second field where the full name of the Technical contact of the requested domain(s) is put.
The technical contact which is filled in here are normally the company (ISP) representative that does the actual work of registering and maintaining the domain for the owner. The technical contact should not be the same as the Administrative contact.

Address #1:
Specify the name of the ISP/Entity/Company that request the domain registration(s)

Address #2:
Specify the street address of the ISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

Address #3:
Specify the area and postal code address of the ISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

Address #4:
Specify the city address of the ISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

Address #5:
Specify the country address of theISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

Phone:
Specify the phone number (with prefix/country codes)  for the ISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

Fax-no:
Specify the fax number (with prefix/country codes)  for the ISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

E-mail:
Specify the E-mail address to the ISP/Entity/Company that requests the domain registration(s).

[ Part  B 2] - Zone Contact, person/role with authority to change contents of zones. 

Person:
This is a second field where the full name of Zone contact of the requested domain(s) is put.
The zone contact which is filled in here are normally the same as the technical company (ISP) representative. The zone contact should not be the same as the Administrative contact. Remember to use full name.

Address #1:
Specify the name of the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s).

Address #2:
Specify the street address of the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s).

Address #3:
Specify the area and postal code address of the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s)

Address #4:
Specify the city address of the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s)

Address #5:
Specify the country address of the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s)

Phone:
Specify the phone number (with prefix/country codes)  for the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s)

Fax-no:
Specify the fax number (with prefix/country codes)  for the person/zone-contact responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s)

E-mail:
Specify the E-mail address to the entity/organisation responsible for the zone needed in the domain registration(s)

[ Part  C ] - Technical Details

ns-0-ip:
This field specifies the IP address of the primary domain server the domain(s) should point to.

ns-0-n:
This field specifies the assigned name of the primary domain server the domain(s) should point to.

ns-1-ip:
This field specifies the IP address of the secondary domain server the domain(s) should point to.

ns-1-n:
This field specifies the assigned name of the secondary domain server the domain(s) should point to.

(ns-2-ip:) (ns-2-n:) Add the appropriate fields if you have more than two nameservers you want to point towards.
